The Clayton Yacht Club (CYC) is a private, family-oriented yacht club founded in the late 1930’s. It is located on Bartlett Point across the bay from the beautiful, historic Village of Clayton, New York and overlooking the St. Lawrence River in the beautiful Thousand Islands. The CYC welcomes all visitors from our reciprocal yacht clubs as well as guests of our current members.

  • The CYC offers a number of services that make it a friendly and convenient place to be a member or to come and visit:
  • Restaurant and Bar serves lunch and dinner on a seasonal schedule as well as breakfast on
  • Sundays mid-season. Please check Restaurant tab for dpecific details.
  • The bar is open during all restaurant hours
  • A beach and a raft for swimming
  • A sand pile and swings for the kids
  • Upper and Lower club houses can be rented for parties or other events
  • Huge outdoor lawn can be used for private events
  • Full docking amenities on most docks for members and visitors
  • Coin Operated washer and dryer on premises
  • Showers in the restaurant area
  • Nearby Village of Clayton is a fun place to visit

The Thousand Islands are unique, offering a wonderful recreation experience that spans two nations. With over 1,800 islands, each having its own individuality with features such as stately granite cliffs, soft sandy bays, tall dark pines and vibrant maple trees – it’s a sightseer’s paradise.

The Clayton community, the Village of Clayton and the Town of Clayton are very popular tourist destinations offering a wide variety of tourist attractions such as museums, destination spots, entertainment, restaurants and of course – the 1000 Islands.
