CLUB MEMEBER RULES

CLUB PRIVILEGES
The privileges of the Clayton Yacht Club are extended to all members in good standing. Privileges are also extended to include all members in good standing of visiting yacht clubs. All slip assignments will be the responsibility of the Dockmaster. On arrival, the Commodore requests that you report to the Bar/Restaurant and register in the visitors’ log book.

DOCKAGE

  • Visiting yachts from reciprocal yacht clubs are welcome to overnight dockage on a space available basis. The dockage fees are posted at the end of the rules pages.

WATERCRAFT

  • The use of “Jet Skis” is permitted but common courtesy is expected.
  • No dinghies are to be left unattended at the docks.
  • Guests of members may dock their boats only when attending Club functions or using Club facilities.

RESTAURANT and BAR HOURS

  • As posted in the bar – generally includes lunch, dinner and snacks.
  • The Club’s restaurant has a full complement of legal beverages and a menu at reasonable prices for your dining pleasure.
  • The Club has the right to refuse alcoholic beverages to anyone who is visibly intoxicated. In the restaurant area shoes and shirts are required at all times.

FOOD AND DRINK

  • The Yacht Club is a licensed facility.
  • No personal food or drink is allowed to be consumed on Club grounds.
  • We request that you limit consumption of personal provisions to your boat or dock area.
  • A barbecue grill is located at the North dock entrance for your convenience.

CHILDREN

  • Children are welcome at the Club.
  • Parents are to supervise their children at all times.
  • Parents will be held responsible for the behavior of their children.

PETS

  • Pets are strictly prohibited inside the restaurant and upper club house—No Exceptions.
  • Pets must be on a leash at all times while on Club property.
  • Please walk your dog in the upper club house area or along the upper parking lot area along the road.

RECREATION

  • Roller blades are not to be worn on the docks or in and around the bar/restaurant area.
  • Swimming is allowed, but there is no lifeguard on duty, so swimming is at your own risk.
  • There is a large sand pile for children to play in, plus a very fine swing set.

UTILITIES

  • Fresh water and electricity is available on the North dock for your convenience.
  • The electrical supply is 120 volts at 60 Hz and all outlets are GFI protected.
  • The South dock has fresh water, but only a minimal amount of electricity at this time.

SHOWERS AND REST ROOMS

  • Rest rooms with showers are available 24 hours/day in the restaurant.

TELEPHONE

  • A telephone is located in the restaurant and is available for use only during restaurant hours.
  • All toll calls must be paid by telephone company credit card or collect.

PUMPOUT, FUEL, LAUNDRY AND MARKETS

  • All are available in the Village of Clayton.
  • A single coin-operated washer and dryer is also available for members and their guests only in the upper club house.
